Stop press! We’ve made it into a weekly glossy!

We’re so excited to be able to share this with you all, after weeks (but what seems like years!) of having to keep it a secret!

We hope you will be jumping for joy for us, just as much as we are- it’s been such a brilliant opportunity- and to share it with you guys is such a proud moment!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been keeping a secret from you all – but the cat is finally out of the bag and we are now able to talk about it properly! It’s so difficult to keep such exciting secrets, especially ones like this, but it was so worth it!

This January, we were absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been given the project of making the jewellery for celeb couple, singer Gareth Gates and Coronation Street’s finest – Faye Brookes engagement party! Their engagement was first announced with an exclusive feature in OK magazine a few weeks ago, followed by another exclusive 6-page spread covering their high-profile engagement party, which took place during the last weekend in January.
Myself (Alyssa) and my talented little team were tasked with the project of making 25 beautiful Angel Feather necklaces in rose gold for Faye and Gareth’s engagement party guests, and we also made a beautiful matching Angel Feather bracelet and necklace for Faye herself – as a little something extra.  Faye has really petite wrists, so we made it for her in our 7 inch size, which is our smallest size- but as you know, we’re always happy to make our bracelets as small or large as you need them- that’s the beauty of made to order jewellery!

Not only did the couple (and all of their celeb friends) love them – but the beautiful Faye even wore the bracelet for the OK mag photoshoot – Which we can’t even believe, a week on!

There our bracelet is, sparkling away in her photographs – which she chose to wear over the Cartier bracelet (move over Cartier!) which matched Gareth’s. We are beyond chuffed, stunned and so pleasantly shocked that not only was the bracelet visible in all of the photos, but we even got our own little paragraph in the magazine too! We’re so pleased this wasn’t cut out- hehe! The couple go on to explaining why our angel feather jewellery was perfect for them- because they call each other ‘my angel’- and because of this, they made a brilliant memoir for their special guests too.

Gareth was the first to own one of our special angel feathers, which had had specially made on a longer men’s chain for himself – so it seemed right that Faye would soon own a matching set too! It was one of most enjoyable projects that we’ve carried out of recent times, and having got to know the couple recently, they are really beautiful both inside and out.

We actually only had 1 day to make the packaging this entire project, because of the ways the days fell and due to other commitments– and our office turned into even more of an elves workshop than it normally is on this day! We had a huge production line of angel feathers being made, polished, assembled, packaged and ribbons perfectly tied around the boxes– Plus, on top of that, we hand wrote and signed tiny notes for each guest, which were rolled up by hand and tied with string – it was so fiddly, and was a rush against time to get them all complete. By the time our postman arrived to collect the day’s post to send out around the world, we were still on the last leg of packaging them, and he even helped us box up the last few! Good old royal mail postie, hey!
The guests at the party absolutely loved the bracelets- and we heard they went down a storm.  We’ve seen a huge surge in popularity of our (already popular!) angel feather collection since the magazine coverage.

We were so pleased that on top of this, our local newspaper also picked up on the story- and made it front page news! It was another rush to get the office ready for another photoshoot, this time, holding OK magazine!

We really hope you will enjoy these little snippets we’ve shared with you, and if you’d like to see our beautiful angel feather collection, click here -
